Today’s groundbreaking at Fannin County High School was about so much more than a new facility—it was about the students who will learn, grow and prepare for their futures inside it.

We had the opportunity to hear from students preparing to graduate from the CTAE program, current students and eighth graders who are excited about what lies ahead. Their enthusiasm for the program, appreciation for their teachers and excitement about the opportunities this new facility will bring to Fannin County made the day especially meaningful.

We’re grateful to be part of a project that will help create even more opportunities for students for years to come.

Big things are taking shape at Dacula City Core!

Over the past month, our TEAM has installed pedestrian bridge steel, standing seam roofing and brick pavers at Amphitheater and Pavilions along with starting interior finishes on City Hall. The drywall and storefront windows are wrapping up with painting and ceiling grid underway. Flooring will be starting in the next few weeks.

Every week brings Dacula City Core one step closer to the finish line, and we’re excited to see it all coming together!

🏗️ Progress is taking shape at Dacula City Core!

Momentum continues across this transformational project as the vision for Downtown Dacula becomes reality.

✨ Current progress includes:
• Fine grading at the amphitheater
• Asphalt paving near City Hall
• New sidewalks and underground irrigation installation
• Maple Creek Park's beautiful brick paver entrance and disc golf improvements
• Er****on of the bridge connector linking City Hall and the Parking Deck
• Interior drywall hanging and finishing throughout City Hall in preparation for paint
• Ongoing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) installation
• Roofing nearing completion, with metal roofing and roof paver tiles coming next

Every milestone brings this exciting community destination one step closer to opening. We're proud to partner with and the City of Dacula to help create a vibrant space that will serve residents for generations to come.

Today, we were proud to celebrate the Grand Reopening of Eastanollee Elementary School! 🎉🏫

With a history rooted in the Eastanollee community, this campus represents generations of learning, memories, and connection. Bowen & Watson is grateful to have played a role in its renovations and in preparing the school to once again welcome Pre-K through 5th-grade students.

We’re proud to help preserve a piece of Stephens County’s history while creating a place for the next generation to learn, grow, and make memories of their own. 💙

🎶 The wheels on the bus go 'round and 'round 🚌🔧

Progress continues at the Griffin-Spalding Bus Shop! Bowen & Watson is proud to partner with PBK and the to deliver a facility that will help keep the district's fleet running safely and efficiently.

From newly installed lubrication tanks and hose reels to the air compressor system and operational overhead doors, the specialized equipment is coming together. Outside, curb and gutter are complete, and paving is up next.

Every piece of equipment installed is another step toward making sure the wheels on the bus keep going 'round and 'round for years to come! 🚌

Construction is in the home stretch at the Fannin County High School Athletic Complex!

Exterior work across all buildings is nearing completion, with brick veneer, windows, doors, and roofing now complete. Inside, crews are putting on the finishing touches with paint touch-ups, sports equipment installation, flooring, and miscellaneous MEP work.

Outside, work continues on the tennis courts and tennis pavilion, while crews prepare for final striping and pavement markings throughout the parking lots and roadways.

We're proud to partner with Breaux and Fannin County Schools to bring this premier athletic complex to life and look forward to celebrating its completion in the coming months.

Exciting progress continues at the Dacula City Core project, designed by Lindsay Pope Brayfield & Associates, Inc.

🏗️ Site: Underground storm, sanitary sewer, and water utilities are complete. Crews are now installing sidewalks and curb & gutter, with work also underway at the Maple Creek Park entrance.

🎭 Amphitheater: Sidewalk installation is progressing, and topsoil is being placed as the site begins to take shape.

🏛️ City Hall: Brick veneer is nearing completion while roofing systems, drywall, and storefront glazing continue to move forward.

🚗 Parking Garage: The slab-on-grade and topping slab concrete are complete. Crews are now focused on MEP rough-ins and installing the cast stone coping.

🏗️ Progress continues at the Dacula City Core project, designed by Lindsay Pope Brayfield & Associates, Inc. !

The new City Hall is beginning to take shape with brick veneer and cast stone installation underway. Aluminum storefront windows are being installed, while metal stud framing and MEP rough-ins are nearing completion. Roofing activities are set to begin soon, allowing interior drywall work to follow as the building is dried in.

At the Amphitheater, brick veneer, cast stone, TPO roofing, and MEP rough-ins are complete. Crews are preparing to begin concrete sidewalks and seating areas while awaiting delivery of the standing seam roof system.

The Parking Garage has reached a major milestone with the precast structure now complete. Work is currently focused on slab-on-grade construction and topping slabs.

Site development continues to move forward as all storm, water, and sewer utilities have been completed. Curb and gutter installation, asphalt base, and sidewalks around the amphitheater are also in place.

This exciting project is transforming the heart of downtown Dacula and creating a vibrant destination for residents and visitors for years to come.
