⭐️It’s likely time to replace your furnace filter again! If your filter is 1” thick, we recommend replacement every 6-8 weeks. Sometimes more often, especially if you have pets. It’s by far the most important thing you can do for a modern forced air HVAC system⭐️

Good evening! With the warm weather approaching I wanted to share a quick tip with everyone!

Extreme heat can be bad for air conditioners!

Make sure that your furnace filter and your outside unit are clean. The A/C needs to be off, then spray down the sides with a hose. It does not need to be spotless but needs to be clean to have the best chance of surviving the heat.

During extremely hot days!
You can turn the A/C unit off for 5 minutes. Then get the condenser coils wet (the sides of the outside unit), then turn the A/C right back on. The water will cool the system back down from the heat.

Please have carbon monoxide detectors if you have any gas fired appliances. Battery only detectors have a passive sensor and won’t alert you if they’re failing. Use a model that plugs into the wall for its primary power source. Have a detector on each level of your home where people sleep, and nearest to sleeping areas
