We finished this truck some time ago. Not our newest truck but it is a 2015 Peterbilt 567 automatic, heavy front and rears. This is an ideal water truck chassis either for construction or fire use. Also just completed in a very short 6 weeks, 2 new 2022 identical forest service compliant 4,000 gallon type 2 tenders for our customer in Utah. These trucks are built for the mountains with 8LL transmission, lockers, multi baffled tank, 7 spray heads, self loading, multi pressure taps, hose reel, rear camera, hot shift on the fly pto, our 750 gpm at 100 psi water pump, great storage plus we supplied all required equipment. Both trucks passed inspection with flying colors. These trucks are 66,000 gvw rated, on forest service land you can use the full GVW, bridge law does not apply. When we build a truck like these we weight them before hand, empty and full and determine how much weight per axle we be applied. In this application each axle is loaded 83-86% of capacity when fully loaded. Contact us for your next water truck or tank kit.

This type 2 truck was built for a return customer. 2022 T880 KW with our 4,000 gallon multi compartment baffled tank epoxy lined, many pressure taps, electric rewind hose reel, pressure bar, hot shift hydraulic driven pump with variable speed drive. 2.5” fully programmable water cannon, storage boxes, storage deck with sleeping area, 3 cameras, self loading and many other custom features. Customers 5,000 gallon water wagon had so many leaks, the floor was very thin. We replaced the entire floor up to the first rib. Replaced the lower 1/3 of each baffle. Welded inside and out 100%. Happy Friday, just finished this water truck for a local customer, truck #6. This truck is equipped with our Clear View 4,800 gallon water system with 7 spray heads, hydraulic driven shift on the fly, self loading, and hose reel. Our new combo tank/cooler allows for only 5 gallons of needed oil to operate this system. The electric fan keeps oil temperatures consistent when operating. Well here is our first wrecker build. *We did not fabricate the rear towing rig attachment. We did however stretch the truck 8 feet including full double frame insert, move fuel tanks back, install new battery boxes, move all air tanks, batteries, air dryer, install new pusher axle, install toolboxes, wet kit to operate tow rig, complete installation in house. The Beauty of this quick attach to rig is that you can uncouple from it and drive away in the truck can be used to tow trailers still.
