🚨Company Spotlight🚨

This past week, our COO and Co-Owner Caleb, along with other first responders, was presented with Catholic Health's "Excellence in Care" award for a Medical Emergency he responded to last year!

In cooperation with the Sanborn Fire Company, Caleb and his ALS partner Phil, responded to a call for a person possibly having a stroke. They quickly identified the person was indeed suffering from a stroke, and promptly transported the patient to a comprehensive care hospital. Despite their best efforts, the patient, unfortunately, did not survive the incident.

Caleb, his partner, and the firefighters on scene demonstrated absolute professionalism and excellence in prehospital care as a team. They used every skill and every tool available to them in conjunction with the hospital's stroke care team, and gave the patient the best possible chance given the situation. We'd like to extend our thanks to everyone involved for your dedication to our community every day. Your work does not go unnoticed!

In addition to receiving this award, Caleb also celebrated his 25th birthday this week! If you see him out and about, be sure to wish him a "Happy 25!"

🚨Company Spotlight 🚨

Our scanner specialist, and Chief Administrative Officer Andrew Hanna has graduated from Nursing School today!

For the past few years, Andrew has risen through the ranks of local EMS agencies from the rank of EMT-B, all the way up to CC-Paramedic and Assistant Chief. Adding to his already impressive resume, he can now practice as a Nurse in hospital settings!

In addition to all of the dedication to his school work, he never wavered in his dedication to us here at Niagara Signal. He assisted in programming numerous scanners, refreshing pagers, and selling our services to local agencies.

If you see him out and about, be sure to give him a wave and congratulate him on this great accomplishment. Congratulations, Andrew. Thanks for everything you do!

Ginormous Thanks is in order to the Hartland Volunteer Fire Company who just took delivery of their brand new fleet of Unication G-Series pagers! These units were built to a custom spec to meet their unique needs, and we’re happy to help hook them up.

Some of their special requests included custom alert tones, custom channel announcements, county specialty team alerting, and interoperability with their neighboring agencies in Orleans County. In addition to these custom requests, we included a custom Home Screen with their agency name and patch as standard.

In addition to their new G-Series pagers, they also sent in a batch of Minitor VI pagers to take advantage of our “Pager Refresh Program”. With these new units, and their soon-to-be refreshed Minitor pagers, they’ll have a fresh lot of units; ready to be distributed for the next generation of responders that come through their doors!

It can be costly to upgrade your Fire Department's fleet of pagers. New pagers can run as high as $1,000, and many agencies may not have that kind of budget when you need to replace 5+ units at a time.

Basic Refresh: We will deep clean every aspect of the pager, and will completely replace the housing, k***s and buttons for a fresh, clean look.

Premium Refresh: Everything included in the basic package, but we'll ALSO replace the speaker, vi****or, belt clip and misc hardware (screws, gaskets, etc)
