Indoor Air Quality Specialist

Kaw Valley Heating & Cooling is growing our Indoor Air Quality Department, and we are looking for the right person to join our team!
We are looking for an Indoor Air Quality Specialist who enjoys working with homeowners, solving problems, and having real conversations with customers. This position combines hands-on field work, customer education, and sales.
You don't have to know everything about HVAC to be successful in this position. Full on-the-job training is available for the right person.
What You'll Do
Perform professional residential duct cleaning
Perform Aeroseal duct sealing and related duct system services
Evaluate homes and identify opportunities to improve indoor air quality, comfort, and HVAC performance
Recommend appropriate Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) products and services to homeowners
Explain recommendations clearly and professionally to customers
Conduct customer sales calls and present options based on the homeowner's needs
Build trust and establish strong customer relationships
Maintain a clean, professional appearance while working in customers' homes
Properly document completed work and customer recommendations
Work closely with the Kaw Valley Heating & Cooling team to provide an exceptional customer experience
The Right Person
We're looking for someone who:
Is comfortable talking with homeowners and building rapport
Can hold a professional conversation with customers
Has good communication and people skills
Is confident making recommendations and asking for the sale
Takes pride in their work and appearance
Is dependable and willing to learn
Can work independently while still being part of a team
Is comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, basements, and other residential environments
Has a strong work ethic and positive attitude
Wants an opportunity to earn more based on performance
HVAC experience is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right person.

Duct cleaning procedures
Aeroseal duct sealing
Indoor Air Quality products and applications
Customer communication
System evaluation
Sales presentation techniques
Proper installation and work procedures
