The One Rooftop at Tommy’s Tavern + Tap in Edison Nj is a special project consisting of twelve motorized Azenco R-Blade zones spanning the length of the venue, creating one of the largest commercial louvered roof installations in the region. Designed to maximize open-air dining with full control over shade while also providing protection when conditions change, the system allows guests to enjoy the rooftop experience without interruption year-round.

Summer weather is unpredictable. This rooftop isn't. With rain sensors the louvers automatically respond to changing conditions, while floor-to-ceiling guillotine glass walls can be raised or lowered to maintain unobstructed views and a comfortable guest experience in almost any weather.

It's this blend of engineering, design, and real-world performance that has made Breslow a trusted partner for complex commercial outdoor environments across the North-East.

A property this gorgeous deserves a shade solutions that feel just as intentional and aesthetically pleasing.

For this project, we installed multiple matching louvered roof systems throughout the backyard, creating a consistent design language from the poolside lounge to the tennis courts. The result is a clean, cohesive outdoor experience where every space feels connected, elevated, and usable.

With adjustable louvers and motorized shades, each space can shift from full sun to filtered shade to rain protection, giving the homeowner flexibility without compromising the modern look of the property.

Built for summers that are meant to be remembered.

This white motorized louvered roof was designed to bring people together—from Memorial Day weekend all the way through the 4th of July as America celebrates its 250th anniversary.

What makes this project stand out is the detail: 9 custom scalloped corbels, a unique design integrating 2 of the 4 posts directly into the outdoor kitchen, and a centrally mounted Aire fan to keep the space cool even on the hottest summer days.

Because great outdoor living isn’t just about shade—it’s about creating a space for everyone to enjoy for years to come.
