Today, our community has the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children and families facing the unimaginable.
If you’re looking for something to do today, stop by Sams Bar and Grill. Enjoy some great food, take a chance on the incredible raffle baskets and prizes but most importantly, help bring hope to families who need it now more than ever!
We’re honored to contribute a gift certificate to the raffle and we hope you’ll stop by and support this amazing cause. Every ticket purchased and every dollar raised helps remind these families that they are not fighting alone. Help pack Sam’s, honor Kennsley’s beautiful spirit and show Delaney & Zane, and every family supported by Kids Can’t Fight Cancer Alone, what a caring community can do when it comes together.
Hope starts with all of us! 💛🎗️
Tomorrow, our community will gather for Kennsley’s Carnival of Hope.
Many know this event benefits Delaney and Zane, but before the doors open, we’d like to take a moment to remember the little girl whose name this day proudly carries.
I recently asked Kennsley’s family, “What do you want the community to remember about Kennsley?”
Their answer wasn’t about cancer.
It was about her s***k. Her sass. Her take-charge personality. The fact that she didn’t take anyone’s nonsense. And despite everything she faced, she never stopped being happy.
That was Kennsley.
She loved riding in the side-by-side, dancing to music, watching Minnie and Mickey, playing with her big sister Brynnley, and loving on her dogs. She filled every room with a personality far bigger than her tiny three years. She had a way of making people smile, and that’s exactly how her family hopes she’ll always be remembered.
Tomorrow’s carnival is more than a fundraiser.
It is a labor of love.
It represents hundreds of volunteer hours, countless acts of kindness, and a family who, in the midst of unimaginable grief, chose to continue building something that gives hope to other families facing childhood cancer.
That kind of love is extraordinary.
Because of Adam and Brooke’s strength, Kennsley’s story continues to do what she always did—bring people together.
Tomorrow, when the doors open, every smile, every raffle ticket, every meal, every hug, and every dollar raised will help Delaney and Zane.
And in each of those moments, Kennsley’s spirit will be there too.
Not because of the cancer she fought.
But because of the joy she shared, the sass she carried, the love she gave so freely, and the community that refuses to let her light fade.
Tomorrow, we won’t just be opening the doors to a carnival. We’ll be opening our hearts to two families who need us, while honoring the little girl whose love made all of this possible.
From all of us at Kids Can’t Fight Cancer Alone, thank you for helping us ensure that Kennsley’s light continues to shine. Because of this community, her legacy lives on—not only in the memories we cherish, but in the hope being given to Delaney, Zane, and every family we have the privilege of serving. We are humbled, we are grateful, and we will never take your kindness for granted.
We’ll see you tomorrow. 💛
