Out with the old, in with the new!

This driveway overall was in O.K. shape, but the approach from the street was deteriorating and had been patched and fixed up several times. Also along the garage it had been previously lifted after settlement because of an overall saturated base, that consisted of clay, black dirt, and a trace amount of gravel.

We completely removed the existing concrete and the base underneath. We than replaced it with a solid, packed, gravel base. This allows proper drainage to help keep frost away from the slab.

As always we follow up the packed gravel base with rebar. This is a step we absolutely DO NOT skip. The is crucial for structural support of the slab, as well as longevity. A cheap insurance for your investment!

Than the pad was finished with a traditional broom finish and clean relief joints!

Happy new year everyone!

We wrapped up 2025 with yet another shop floor today, on new years eve! What a way to close out the year and bust into 2026!

Infloor heat means we bring in the big dog to get the job done! Thanks to Bremik, LLC Concrete Pumping & Conveying for being spot on and getting us on the schedule when the weather allowed!

Thanks to an amazing crew for hammering this out and working around the holidays!

Thanks to all my customers for another spectacular year! We were pretty quiet on Facebook this season, but we were super busy!! We will make some more posts to update everyone on the great season we had!

Just finished up this large shop this past week!

72'x180'x6" Complete with 1' on center rebar. This floor is also complimented by a 70' Commercial U-Drain with a silt basket sump!

A couple long days of tying the bar and setting the v***r barrier. Threw in some forms to break the pours and away we went.

Big shop floor or small sidewalks, we care for each job as its own, and deliver a quality product! Me and my small crew aren't the biggest, but the crew buckled down and did what needed to be done to get this one done! I truly appreciate the guys I have and the work they put in to get things done!

Huge thanks to Paul Miller and his wife, alongside Redstar Fairmont, MN for the business and the opportunity to work on such a great project!

A nice little 50'x60' silage pad we knocked out today! The pad and site prep was also done by us! We have the tools, equipment, and knowledge to get the job done, and done right!

This farmer is excited for his new storage, and is eager to put it to work!

Happy 4th of July!

The crew and I finished up this foundation this morning, with a quick from strip and a water proofing! We usually don't work holidays, but with the pending rain and chances of the dirt banks washing in, we jumped on it and took care of business!

The forms were fresh and the water proofing membrane sticks best when its warm and clean!

Thanks to the guys for being willing to work to get the job done in situations like these!

This is and ICF (Insulated Concrete Form) system. These big blocks are stacked and locked together. After the pour the forms STAY IN PLACE! They are your forms, insulation, and v***r barrier. If this were a traditional basement, your siding or drywall screws directly into the integrated ties inside the foam of the forms. These systems are the definition of efficiency!

Knocked out this large apron here a week or so ago!

The customer requested a swale to be installed to direct the water away, as we had 3 different slopes coming to one point. It was tricky to get all 3 angles, along with the radius, tied in. But we knocked it out with no troubles!

We are buzzing along enjoying some good weather this spring, with a short warm spell here!

Get ahold of me to get on the summer schedule! We are filling up fast! As always, we offer free estimates!
