We are a family-owned wood flooring company, in business locally since 2004, specializing in our custom finished wood flooring. We also provide local installation services for our floors. We do not do any other types of flooring, no carpet, no lvp, no vinyl, no tile. Our projects are high end, where quality counts. We have work currently scheduled into 2023.

We are looking for new team members to join our family. Depending on your experience and skills, we have positions from apprentice to journeyman in our pre-finishing operation as well as installations.

Our warehouse is located in Sparks, where the custom finishing and fabrication is done. Installation areas are typically in Reno, Carson, Incline, Tahoe and Truckee

Must have reliable transportation & be able to lift 50 lbs.

No experience required, but desirable. We reward strong performance and offer the opportunity to learn, grow, and improve your professional career. Wages based on experience with great potential to move up in salary based on proven merit + holiday & sick pay + Health/Dental/Vision benefits for full time employees.

Back in 2016, Nor-Cal Floor Design was honored to collaborate on the 826 Valencia project with some of San Francisco’s finest trade professionals to build a safe haven for the children of the tenderloin district. Nor-Cal played a small role, along with Arrigoni Woods and Rubio Monocoat by donating non-toxic products (custom finished wood floors😁) to help achieve the end goal of a safe, clean and healthy environment for future minds to grow and develop.
