Last year our Planet Fuel Charitable Fund provided funding to support Save The Sound's construction of a fish ladder in the Noroton River. This was a multi-agency, decade-long project that allows native fish to return to their headwaters for the first time since the passage was blocked during construction of I-95 more than 50 years ago. We had an amazing afternoon celebrating the completion of the project, with the CT Fisheries Dept. “seeding” the pond with over 400 native Alewife fish who will now re-populate the area.
