The Zona Technical Engineering team enjoyed a fun evening together watching Spider-Man! 🍿🕷️

Last week we celebrated with an office pizza party then hurried to the theater for our showing! From the new trailers and heartfelt soundtrack to sharing our post-movie reviews, it was a great way to enjoy a summer evening together!

Taking time to connect outside the office helps build the relationships that make our team stronger. We're grateful for opportunities like these to relax, have a few laughs, and enjoy each other's company.

Here's to great teammates, great memories, and making the most of summer!

One of the highlights of our internship program is connecting our interns with our leadership team.

Last week, our five summer interns joined Zona Technical Engineering's owners for lunch, where they discussed career paths, industry experiences, project work, and what it takes to build a successful career in the A/E/C industry.

We believe mentorship is an important part of every internship experience, and we're grateful for the opportunity to invest in the next generation of engineers and industry professionals.

Grab your gloves and boots - it is time to give back!

The Zona Technical Engineering team continued one of our favorite annual traditions by volunteering at Camp Lawton, Mt. Lemmon’s perfect getaway this past weekend.

We focused on camp restoration and safety, ensuring all scouts can enjoy their visits. One group of volunteers cleared trails by removing fallen tree branches that will be repurposed into mulch and firewood, while another maintained the Scout shelters by installing more than 100 hinge reinforcements on the bases.

We're proud to support a place that provides unforgettable outdoor experiences for so many local children. Knowing our efforts will help future campers safely enjoy Camp Lawton made the day especially rewarding. If we can better the experience of future campers and savor a taste of the great outdoors along the way…then this event was a success. Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and hard work!

Zona Technical Engineering had a wonderful experience participating in Canstruction this year again with Lloyd Construction Company, Inc. and BWS Architects. Last Friday, we took down our six-foot Rubik’s Cube so the cans could be donated to the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona. We then attended an Awards banquet and had a tour of their warehouse. Our team won the award for best use of labels and the most donated cans from our display!

Zona Technical Engineering is excited to once again participate in Canstruction, teaming up with BWS Architects and Lloyd Construction Company, Inc. to support our local community.

With this year’s theme of Fun and Games, our team collaborated on the classic puzzle - a Rubik’s Cube! Featuring one small cube alongside a massive 6-foot tall cube that you can still catch at the Park Place Mall until Friday, July 10th! Nearly 4,000 cans of food will be donated to the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona from this design.
