That's a wrap on the Arizona Housing Coalition 2026 Show Me the Housing "Drive It Home" Classic. Shoutout to Kevin Hunley for winning the longest putt award! This year Tofel Dent Construction finished in third place, we will be back next year to reclaim the title! The tournament provided an opportunity to connect with colleagues, strengthen partnerships, and celebrate our shared commitment to advancing housing opportunities across Arizona. Now it's time to trade golf clubs for housing policy discussions as the Arizona Department of Housing 2026 Housing Forum gets underway.

The 11th Annual Arizona Construction Expo was a huge success! Thank you to the event organizers, co-hosted by the Arizona Builders Alliance, American Subcontractors Association of Arizona, and the Associated Minority Contractors of Arizona. Belvedere Terrace Celebrates Grand Opening in Tucson

This afternoon we celebrated the grand opening of Belvedere Terrace, an affordable senior housing community in Tucson designed to support independent living, comfort, and long-term housing stability for older adults.

Belvedere Terrace is a 61,121 SF affordable housing community offering 72 apartment homes for residents ages 55 and older. Featuring a mix of one- and two-bedroom floor plans, the development was thoughtfully designed to provide modern, accessible living in a connected neighborhood setting. 22 units are set aside for the project-based voucher program, serving seniors recently leaving homelessness.

Developed by Newport Partners, LLC, designed by Poster Mirto McDonald, and constructed by Tofel Dent Construction, Belvedere Terrace reflects a collaborative effort among local and state partners committed to expanding affordable housing opportunities in Southern Arizona. Other partners and attendees included: City of Tucson - Government Mayor Regina Romero, the Arizona Department of Housing, The Primavera Foundation, the Pima County Board of Supervisors, and many others.

Belvedere Terrace combines affordability with an amenity-rich lifestyle. Residents benefit from all utilities and internet included in rent, along with community spaces designed to encourage wellness, independence, and social connection.

Residents at Belvedere Terrace have access to a variety of amenities throughout the community, including:
- Clubhouse with indoor and outdoor lounge areas
- Modern fitness center
- Multi-purpose community room for events and gatherings
- Pet park and walking path
- Secure access entry
- Solar covered parking
- Laundry facilities on every floor
- Two elevators
- On-site management office
- 24/7 emergency maintenance
- 100% non-smoking community
- All utilities and internet included in rent

Belvedere Terrace was designed to create a welcoming environment where residents can age in place while maintaining access to affordable, high-quality housing and community amenities that support everyday life. Many speakers reiterated how vital Belvedere Terrace is in helping residents to live and age, with dignity.
