The Middle Housing Design Competition is officially underway. Tucson Planning and Development Services, along with AIA Southern Arizona, invites designers, builders, and students to submit up to four designs (up from the original limit of three) for Tucson's library of pre-approved middle housing plans. Fifteen designs will be selected for a $1,000 award each. Submissions close Monday, September 7, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
