Advanced knowledge of principles, theories, concepts and techniques in developing, modifying, debugging, releasing and maintaining real-time and embedded software systems for mission-critical aerospace applications

Desired Skills:

Experience debugging software/hardware interactions and possible failure modes

Space flight experience is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Create and maintain a full-chip verification environment for York processing FPGAs.
Create FPGA verification test plans to facilitate reviews.
Develop and maintain an automated regression test environment.

Enable design engineers by creating the building blocks of module-level test benches.

As a key member of the RF Engineering team, you will report into “Engineering Manager”. Seniority will be determined by experience. Responsibilities

Design, test, and document a custom S-band radio that uses custom electronic designs along with commercially available components.

Collaborate with team members to gather and finalize requirements for design.

Research and test commercially available components for suitability in designs.

Collaborate with other RF Engineers, FPGA designers, and the electrical engineering team on design and testing plans.

Collaborate with Electrical Engineers to make sure designs are suitable for the space environment.

Work on schematics and PCB layouts with the Electrical Engineering team for any custom RF electronics needed.
