Jeremy’s Dad became interested in manufacturing components watching his grandfather design, machine and build tool and die components in the family owned tool & die shop. Jeff’s grandfather was Otto Wagner, one of the predominant machinists in Tucson during the ‘50’s thru the early ‘70’s. Wagner Tool & Die which produced products for companies like Hughes Aircraft (now Raytheon) and Burr Brown Corporation (now Texas Instruments) two of the largest companies in Tucson at the time. Although Jeff’s grandmother would become concerned and would make him leave the area, Jeff still held onto his interest. He would watch his grandfather every chance he had. When Jeff was old enough he was taught how to run a lathe and other equipment in the shop further enticing him to follow in the footsteps of his grandfather. Jeremy became interested in the machining business while being around his Dad. Jeremy watched and helped his Dad in the shop as Jeff manufactured items. Jeremy was taught, like his Dad, by hands on skills taught by watching and doing. Together as a team, Jeremy and his Dad manufacture precision CNC components for their customers.
