This is a FREE camp for high school girls in Arizona - spend a week in the Chiricahua Mountains while learning about outdoor leadership and field research. Time is almost up to apply for the 2026 AZ STEM Adventure! Apply by September 4th.

Students in 4th-8th grade travel to Pima Community College and get to explore hands-on activities in STEM from community partners across Arizona.

SARSEF is excited to announce that TWO of our 2026 Fair participants have been named in the Top 300 challenge! A huge congratulations to these incredible young scientists and engineers. 💫

We're excited to announce the Top 300 in the 2026 Thermo Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge—the nation's premier STEM competition for middle school students. Chosen from a competitive pool of nearly 2,000 applicants, the Top 300 represent the best and brightest middle school STEM talent in the U.S. and its territories.

Congratulations Nikola, Broadcom Coding with Commitment® winner at SARSEF Regional Science and Engineering Fair!

Broadcom Coding with Commitment® recognizes students in middle school who combine STEM learning with coding to solve a community problem they care about that aligns with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.

Nikola's project “MARS: Guarding or Watching? A 10,000-year Orbital Study Test” uses a Python simulation tool to see how Mars influences the Asteroid Belt. Nikola is interested in both astronomy and coding! Her project aligns with United Nations Sustainable Development Goal #9 Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure.

Broadcom Coding with Commitment® provides a catalyst for students to learn basic coding and AI as essential problem-solving tools in STEM. It fosters active civic engagement by thinking globally while acting locally.

This past Saturday, we hosted over 20 educators and administrators at the Tucson Fair Director Conference! Participants got to explore and plan different components of science fair and learn about best practices for helping students complete a research project! Thank you to for sponsoring this conference.
