Hexagon AB today announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire Rocscience, a leading provider of geotechnical and engineering analysis software, from TA Associates and Rocscience’s founders and management. Rocscience will become part of the Radar & Monitoring Division within Hexagon’s Infrastructure & Geospatial Business Area.

“By connecting what our sensors measure with how Rocscience’s models predict, we can help customers move from data capture to informed action with far greater confidence. We are excited to welcome the global Rocscience team to Infrastructure & Geospatial and to Hexagon," said Hexagon's Henning Sandfort, President, Infrastructure & Geospatial Business Area.

Rocscience helps mining engineers and geotechnical professionals model how rock, soil and structures behave under different conditions, analyse slope stability and ground movement, and assess the performance of open pits, underground excavations, tunnels, dams and other critical assets over time. Its software is used by mining, civil engineering and energy customers in around 125 countries to evaluate risk, improve safety and support confident decision-making, while its AI-assisted workflows, including a natural-language interface, make advanced engineering modelling and analysis more accessible and efficient.

When our office in Brazil received new uniforms with Hexagon's updated branding, the team was presented with an opportunity: to give a new purpose to the items that would no longer be used.

Inspired by the team spirit of the World Cup, we created the “Everyone plays as one team” campaign. Over the course of a month, our “Wednesdays on the Pitch” initiative brought employees together to donate their old uniforms.

The result? More than 650 items collected and donated to Sistema Divina Providência, an organisation in Minas Gerais that supports people in vulnerable situations.

Before being put to new use, the uniforms will undergo a de-branding process. They can then benefit families supported by the organisation, charity shops, and the organisation’s own employees.

This simple initiative, built on collaboration and purpose, showed how we can turn change into an opportunity to make a positive impact.

Thank you to everyone who took to the pitch with us! 👏

A chegada dos novos uniformes ao nosso escritório no Brasil, como parte da transição de marca da Hexagon, trouxe uma oportunidade: dar um novo propósito às peças que deixariam de ser utilizadas.

Inspirados pelo espírito de equipe da Copa do Mundo, criamos a campanha “Aqui todo mundo joga junto”. Durante um mês, nossas “Quartas em Campo” mobilizaram os colaboradores em torno da doação dos uniformes antigos.

O resultado? Mais de 650 peças arrecadadas, entregues ao Sistema Divina Providência, instituição que atua em Minas Gerais apoiando pessoas em situação de vulnerabilidade.

Antes da destinação, os uniformes passarão por um processo de descaracterização e, depois, poderão beneficiar famílias atendidas pela instituição, bazares beneficentes e seus próprios colaboradores.
Uma iniciativa simples, construída com colaboração e propósito, que mostra como podemos transformar mudanças em oportunidades de gerar impacto positivo.
