MISCO began as a service organization specializing in sandblasting and application of special protective coatings and mechanical repair of ships and other large equipment. Work was done primarily for the Department of Defense, civil hydroelectric projects and large steel fabricators. Grant McCulloch purchased controlling interest in MISCO. The primary emphasis of the company was changed to providi
ng mechanical contracting services to Northwest Industrial Companies. MISCO specialized in plant erection and maintenance, steel tank fabrication and erection, and repair of boilers and other pressure vessels. In 1985, Mr. Grant McCulloch founded G.H. and purchased the remaining interest in MISCO Services. The variety and scope of the services which had been offered by MISCO was expanded so that both MISCO and G.H. would become full service industrial and mechanical contractors for Northwest Industrial Companies. Projects have ranged in scope from complete paper machine installation, including all associated piping and sub¬systems, to repair and maintenance of process machines and boiler systems. In a word, versatility, best describes our services. Modern equipment, experience, and a "can do" attitude have given us the flexibility to handle everyday jobs ranging from machinery maintenance to complete plant erection.
