Two problems are present within the photo below. Can you identify them?

Problem A: Hydrocarbons are present in the flare gas stream. This is a valuable resource being burned off and wasted. Red Stag Energy captures and remove these hydrocarbons from the flare gas stream, creating a value-added product and/or a revenue stream. Emissions are reduced. The oil and gas industry emits hydrocarbon emissions. That is the way it has always been. However, outdated, inefficient technology still used on newly completed site locations is creating unnecessary emissions.

As housing additions encroach into areas traditionally dedicated to oil and gas operations, the concern about excessive emissions and unsightly equipment grows. Colorado has been pushing the idea of tankless facilities, and this creates new challenges.
