Meet the company behind all three.

We're Ramsey Industries. It started in 1944, when brothers Claude and Rayburn Ramsey began making aircraft parts, tools, and dies. A year later, they built their first winch. Auto Crane (since 1958) and Eskridge (since 1972) joined the family along the way, and today we're one company with teams in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Olathe, Kansas.

Three brands, each built for one job:
- Auto Crane for lift: service cranes for work trucks.
- Ramsey Winch for pull: industrial winches for towing and recovery, utility, forestry, and more.
- Eskridge for rotation: planetary gear drives working inside the equipment you rely on.

Here is a preview of the Ramsey Connect™ preventative maintenance dashboard, coming soon.

Instead of maintenance issues popping up at random, schedule the work that keeps your cranes in the field, and know if you are going to have a problem or have less unplanned downtime.

The recommended preventative maintenance operations from the back of the crane manual are loaded. Set the activation date, and the dashboard helps track what needs to get done. Mark each item done as you finish it, with direct links to the crane manual and the page that covers that operation.

A stoplight indicator carries into the fleet dashboard. Red means overdue maintenance. Yellow means maintenance is due soon. Green means good to go, with nothing coming up in the next week.

Ramsey Connect™ records how much time each crane spends under load, divided into ranges such as 0 to 20 percent, 20 to 40 percent, and 40 to 60 percent.

At a glance, you can tell whether a crane spends most of its time between 0 and 20 percent or is used a lot more.

You can see precisely how much capacity each crane uses, giving you the data to back up which job requires the larger crane and to make focused decisions about your fleet composition. Do you need larger cranes or smaller ones?

Thank you, Nashville.

Last week our Auto Crane team took part in the NACD Procurement and Fleet Group Conference in Nashville.

We were excited to see the great interest in the re-engineered 6-series and in Ramsey Connect, our smarter-crane platform which provides you with real-time data and alerts from any device, whether you run one truck or a whole fleet. Ryan Holland and Chris Jenkins gave the Auto Crane sponsor presentation, and the conversations kept going at the fleet roundtables and at Truck Booth #3, where fleet managers got hands-on with a live Ramsey Connect demo.

We went to Nashville to listen as much as to present. What we heard about weight, uptime, and connected equipment is what shapes the products we build next.

We want to take a moment to thank our dealer and end users partners who traveled in for Auto Crane Service School: OEM Truck Equipment, B&B Truck Crane, Reading Truck, Hydrosource, and AFI: An Upfitting Company.

This wasn't classroom-only. Technicians got their hands on the equipment, working through real service, troubleshooting, and maintenance alongside our Auto Crane technical support team. When our dealers know these cranes inside and out, our customers get faster fixes, less downtime, and more confidence on the job.

Ramsey Industries is a finalist for Innovative Product Design at the 2026 Warranty Innovation Awards.

The nomination is for the warranty program we launched this year: 18 months standard on every Crane, Winch, and product, plus 18 more at no cost when you register. 36 months of coverage, one digital registration for all three brands, and claims tracked online with real-time updates.

We are one of three finalists in the category, with SureBright and VinFast. The awards cover five categories, and finalists in the others include Ford, Assurant, and American Home Shield. Online voting decides the winners, and we'll announce them in Chicago in October.
