Heading to your first GPA Midstream Convention this September?

You don't have to navigate it alone.

We built a program for exactly that: NAECE, the New Attendee Enhanced Convention Experience.

It pairs first-time attendees and newer industry professionals with an experienced committee member who shares a similar background.

How it works:

1) Before Convention, you're matched with a mentor.

2) At Convention, you meet at an orientation session.

3) Throughout Convention, your mentor answers questions and makes introductions.

One past participant said the program took them from nervous on day one to excited about the technical sessions by day two, with a mentor guiding them the whole way.

This year's theme is Power of Connection. NAECE is where that starts.

🎙️ New episode of Let's Clear the Air is live — and this one's a big one.

Former Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe joins hosts Adam Murray, Bryan Nix, and Stuart Saulters to talk jobs, data centers, and the energy reality governors can't afford to ignore.

McAuliffe went from paving driveways at age 14 to running dozens of companies to leading Virginia (2014-18).

He brings that same "just get stuff done" pragmatism to energy policy.

In this episode, he explains:

1) Why Virginia lost major manufacturing projects on his watch because the state lacked long-term natural gas infrastructure

2) How AI and data center growth is about to explode the demand for energy, and why states have to plan now for water use, permitting, and local concerns alongside that growth

3) Why he believes a real "all of the above" strategy — wind, solar, nuclear, efficiency, and natural gas — is the only realistic path to a reliable grid

As national co-chair of the Natural Allies for a Clean Energy Future Coalition, McAuliffe is pushing Democrats and Republicans to find common ground on infrastructure.

His message: less partisanship, more compromise, and a shared focus on keeping America's energy reliable, affordable, and secure.
