Here’s a sneak peek at the mock-up we built for an upcoming escalator cladding project at a major Airport for Schindler. This stainless steel #4 finish will be used to clad both sides and the underside of 19 escalators. We built the mock-up in our shop so our installers can practice the installation before heading to the site—great way to make sure everything fits and flows smoothly. NEW HIRE!

Welcome, Telema Vea, our newest engineer!

Outside of work, Telema enjoys spending time with family. He has two daughters who are both passionate athletes—his older daughter played rugby for the Tongan National Team, while his younger daughter, currently in 8th grade, plays AAU basketball and is set to join the Varsity team next year. Much of his free time is spent supporting them at games and tournaments.

In addition to being a dedicated sports dad, Telema has a creative side—he enjoys drawing and originally studied animation in school, though he didn’t pursue it professionally due to limited opportunities.

We’re excited to have Telema on the team!

NEW TO THE TEAM!

Rick David is one of our Design Engineers here at Travertine. He has been in custom manufacturing, sheet metal fabrication, and reverse engineering for over 20 years!

He enjoys working around the house, building outdoor living spaces and entertaining friends and neighbors with cookouts on the back patio. We also thank Rick for serving in the US Marine Corps.

Rick is a valuable member of our team and we can’t be happier to have him with us here at Travertine! 👏🏼
