After Nearly 59 Years, Air Handlers Announces Retirement & Closure
After almost 59 years, Mike and Donna Shattuck are retiring, and Air Handlers will officially wind down operations and close on December 31, 2025.
Mike and Donna are incredibly proud of what they’ve built—and of what Mike’s parents built before them. The homes and businesses they’ve served, the trust customers have placed in them, the friendships made along the way, the camaraderie with their beloved long-time employees, and the shared belief in doing quality work and doing right by the customer… it has all meant the world to them. This work has not just been a job—it has been their lives.
While they don’t have a specific contractor to refer you to, they encourage you to take your time, do a little homework, and choose a company that is truly locally owned and operated. Not just a local name or storefront—choose a business where the owners live, work, and invest in this community.
Support local businesses!
To our loyal customers, Mike and Donna want to say:
“Thank you for the trust you’ve placed in us and the loyalty you’ve shown over the years. We cannot express enough how grateful we are for every job well done, every handshake, every place warmed on a cold day or cooled on a hot one. We are just plain grateful for all of you.”
From the entire Air Handlers family—past and present—thank you for nearly six decades of support.
