Cabot Centennial A Centennial Celebration of Cabot Hydroelectric Station, 1916 - 2016. The Cabot Hydroelectric Station’s 100th anniversary is in 2016!

In February 1916, the station began generating electricity, supplying power to the Montague area and communities throughout the Connecticut River Valley. At the time of its construction, Cabot Station was the largest hydroelectric station east of Niagara Falls.
