It is with the deepest sorrow and sadness that we share the passing of our Vice President and CEO, Brion Hardin.
Words cannot fully express the heartbreak felt across our company, our community, and by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
More than three decades ago, Brion had a vision, to build a company rooted not just in construction, but in people. What began as a small, family-run business grew into the Hardin Construction we know today, a respected name built on hard work, honesty, and an unshakable commitment to doing what’s right. Through every challenge and success, Brion led with humility, compassion, and faith. He believed in giving people opportunities, treating every employee like family, and making sure that everyone who wore the Hardin name could take pride in their work.
Brion was more than a boss or a business owner, he was a mentor, a friend, and a constant source of encouragement. He had a heart for people. Whether it was helping an employee through a hard time, lending a hand to someone in need, or supporting local causes that made a difference in our community, Brion gave selflessly and quietly, never asking for recognition. His generosity and leadership changed countless lives, and his impact will be felt for generations to come.
To know Brion was to know kindness, integrity, and genuine care. He inspired everyone around him to be better, not just in work, but in life.
As we grieve this tremendous loss, we ask that you keep Brion’s family, friends, and all of us here at Hardin Construction in your thoughts and prayers. We will share details regarding arrangements as they become available.
Though Brion’s passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, his legacy of love, leadership, and service will continue to guide our company and our hearts.
We will honor him by carrying forward the values he built this company upon: faith, family, hard work, and compassion.
