Over the summer, we had the opportunity to welcome two interns to Ward Scott Morris. We are thankful for the contributions they have made to our team.

Kaitlyn Puckett is a senior at the University of Alabama working towards her Bachelor of Science in Human Environmental Sciences with a major in Interior Design. Kaitlyn is continuing to work with us through the fall, and we appreciate having her as part of our team.

Pace Maddox is a third-year Architecture student at Auburn University. It was a joy to have her with us over the summer, and she has the amazing opportunity to spend the fall semester of her third year at Rural Studio.

We are excited to announce Anne Howell Corhern’s promotion to Associate Principal!

Anne earned her Bachelor of Architecture from Mississippi State University and is a registered architect in Alabama, an NCARB Certificate holder, and an AIA member.

Throughout her career, Anne has worked on projects across central Alabama, serving clients including the City of Tuscaloosa, St. Clair County Schools, and Lee County Schools.

Anne’s experience and dedication make her an important part of the WSM team. Please join us in congratulating her on this well-deserved promotion!

Jake graduated from Mississippi State University in 2016 and will be leading our Mobile office. He is the recipient of the AIA Alabama Young Architect Award. His experience, leadership, and commitment to thoughtful design will make him a valuable addition to our team as he continues serving our clients.

The design for the new DeKalb County Career Technical Center was unveiled today by Nathaniel Ledbetter, Speaker of the Alabama House of Representatives. The Speaker, along with Dr Eric Mackey, State Superintendent, Mr. Wayne Lyles, Superintendent of DeKalb County Schools, and many others worked tirelessly to bring this longtime dream to reality. We are proud to have been selected as architect for this project. Zach Ward and Chad Terwilliger from our Huntsville office spearheaded this design. This new facility will serve over 800 students (and growing) from DeKalb County Schools, as well as students from Fort Payne City Schools, and many more students across the state. Construction will begin later this year.

Ward Scott Morris Architecture is proud to have partnered with Lee County Schools and Scout Program Management on the IMPAC (Indoor Multi-Purpose Athletic Complex) at Smiths Station High School. This state-of-the-art vinyl tensile structure features a full-size football and soccer turf field, along with batting cages for the softball and baseball programs. It was a pleasure to help bring this incredible facility to life.

We are excited to welcome Michelle Enfinger to Ward Scott Morris Architecture as our new Associate Principal!

Michelle graduated from Auburn University in 2011 and will be leading our Dothan office. She is a registered architect in both Alabama and Georgia. Her experience, leadership, and commitment to serving clients make her a wonderful addition to our team.

Outside the office, Michelle has been married to her husband, Terry, for 18 years, and together they have two daughters, Ellarie and Maggie.
