You wouldn't know it from looking at it, but this beautiful home had substantial hail damage on every facet of the roof and the gutters were damaged as well. I'm out here in Kilgore taking care of the Sanchez family. Their roof was torn up from wind damage, and the 3 tab roof they have didn't stand up to those winds. We upgraded at no cost to a 40 year laminate Malarky Highlander shingle. Their new shingle is wind rated at 110 mph now, and their insurance rates will drop 20% now. Out here in beautiful Quitman, TX today project managing a 58 sq ranch style home for my brother Nicholas Ballew. This families insurance only paid for a three tab shingle to be installed, but we ate the cost and upgraded them to a 40 year laminate Malarky Highlander shingle.
