The successful demolition of the Vose Building at BMC - a job we are immensely proud of. Work was completed without incident or interruption of services to both BMC and BU. No small feat! At Middlesex Interiors we prioritize the details. While preparing for the demolition of the Vose building at Boston Medical, we took into account not only the impact on campus, but also on the street and neighbors. Police detail, vibration & noise monitoring, etc. were all on-site as well as making sure we did not damage the roads. Truly a TEAM effort.

Our commitment to quality, safe, and efficient work continues. Preparations are underway for another project at Cambridge Health Alliance. Panel replacement will soon begin on the Loading Dock entrance.

This event helps to support the hospital’s Pediatric Department and it’s mission to provide world-class care along with healthy meals, safe housing, financial coaching and more.

Months of planning has led us to this point. Preparations have begun for the demolition of the Vose Building (c. 1890) on Boston Medical Center’s campus. We have worked closely with the hospital, surrounding institutions and the City to safely and efficiently prepare to remove the building. We look forward to working with our fellow contractors in accomplishing our mission.

Behind the Scenes: Often times the work we do is done out of sight. For the Oral Maxillofacial Surgery & Dentistry's move at BMC to the Shapiro 6th Floor, this could not have been more true. We raised the ceiling height to over 9 feet to allow us to raise the ductwork, raise sanitary lines and redo the sprinkler system.
