📣 A New Chapter — Thank You for 17 Incredible Years
After a lot of reflection, prayer, and tough conversations, I’m officially announcing the closure of Dennis Alexander Construction (DAC).
For 17 years, this company has been my life. It’s been my passion, my grind, my dream, and the way I’ve provided for my family. I’ve poured everything I had into it — early mornings, late nights, weekends, risk, sweat, mistakes, and countless victories. And I wouldn’t trade a single moment of it.
During those years, I’ve had the privilege to:
• Build for hundreds of families
• Earn the trust of amazing clients
• Work alongside some of the most talented employees I’ve ever known
• Partner with loyal subcontractors and vendors who went to battle with me job after job
• Build friendships and relationships that I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life
To my crew — past and present — thank you. You were the backbone of every project. You trusted me, you believed in the vision, and you gave everything you had. I’m proud of every one of you and grateful beyond words.
To my subs and vendors, thank you for standing by my side through the highs and lows, through supply chain storms, material shortages, and some absolutely wild projects. You all made DAC possible.
To my clients, thank you for inviting me into your homes, trusting me with your biggest investments, and letting me leave a piece of my craftsmanship and my heart in your lives.
To my family, especially Erin, thank you for the sacrifices, the support, and the strength you gave me when I had nothing left in the tank. You carried more than anyone knows.
The truth is, closing DAC was not an easy decision — but it was the right one. Life changes. Seasons change. And sometimes stepping away from something you love is the only way to grow into the next version of yourself.
With that said, I’m excited to share that I’ll be starting a new chapter as Construction Manager McQueen Building Co . It’s a role that lets me take everything I’ve learned over nearly two decades — the leadership, the people skills, the problem-solving, the vision — and use it to help build something meaningful in a new way.
I’m grateful for this opportunity, grateful for everyone who helped me get here, and grateful for every person who walked any part of the road with DAC.
This isn’t goodbye. It’s just the next step.
To the families, friends, clients, employees, subs, vendors, and supporters:
Thank you for 17 unforgettable years.
Here’s to the next chapter. 🙏🏼
