Why insurance claim knowledge matters ⬇️

We recently assisted a homeowner with a Category 3 water loss claim. Initially, the insurance carrier estimated the damages at $4,304.31.

After Avast Construction & Consulting completed a proper, detailed estimate using IICRC standards, the claim was re-evaluated and the final payout increased to $24,215.27.

This is why hiring a contractor with insurance claim knowledge and IICRC certification is so important. Proper documentation, scope, and industry-standard estimating ensure homeowners are paid what they are actually owed—not just a partial repair.
