The owner of this Saratoga has never had the pleasure of air conditioning in his plane since he’s owned it.

After FIVE VISITS, 2 different maintenance shops, and OVER $10,000 in parts and labor for his air-conditioning system, still no cold air.

One visit to Barrett Aircraft, the systems leaks were found, and a new AC hose was manufactured in house.

Half a day, and less than 1/10th the other guys cost later… ❄️❄️❄️

Now the owner and his family actually enjoy using their airplane!

If you have felt stagnant in your prayer life lately. I really recommend jacking up a Cessna 210 yourself for a gear swing to reignite your walk with the Lord. 😂😬

In one side and out the other!

The wing Jack slipped off while owner was servicing the strut.

We will be making a flush patch for the bottom skin but the top puncture tore too close to the spar to patch. So we will be changing the whole upper skin.

Apparently some structural work has occured here before, you can see the primered leading edge skin, and those beautiful long rivets through the spar! 🤦 There's more rivets like that In this wing.

Not all sheet metal work is created equal!

More progress photos to come...
