The Kilted Santa Project The Kilted Santa Project is a community project where local ELVES can give us toys or donations and I deliver the presents to families Christmas Eve Day.

We hope to bring Christmas joy and comfort to many children year after year.

Thank you to all of the ELVES for everything you do to make magic for families in our communities each year!

I am home now! Sorry if we missed you we do try to get to as many families as possible. I'll post a recap for today this evening or tomorrow!

🎅 Alrighty, here’s the plan for Kilted Santa! 🎄
Tomorrow, the 23rd (Christmas Eve Eve), One of our Santas — Joe — will be out fulfilling our adopted family deliveries.
On Christmas Eve, Joe, Phil and I will be out and about spreading the magic. I’ll be starting in Concord around 8–9 AM, then making my way through Parma and Jackson. As always, I’ll post updates throughout the day letting you know where I’m headed next.
Joe will be working in specific areas where he can reach more kids within walking distance. He can’t quite do the quick stop-and-go deliveries like I can, but together we cover a lot of ground.
We’ll be out from morning until about 5 PM — unless we run out of presents before then.
👀 Keep an eye out!
If you see me in your area, feel free to stop me. I don’t know where the children live — I stop wherever I see evidence of kids (toys, bikes, etc.), Santa Stop Here / Santa Welcome signs, awesome Christmas displays, or by request if I’m nearby.
This is truly one of our favorite days of the year. It’s a day where our community comes together and takes care of its own — creating some of the best memories our kids and families will have.
It’s not always perfect, and we can’t reach everyone. We never promise that.
What we can promise is that we’ll always do everything we can to reach as many families as possible. And every year, as more people donate and volunteer, the more families we’re able to reach.
When this project started, it was just Jess and me — an idea born during the lockdown to make the holidays a little brighter for local kids. What it’s become is because of you.
That’s why when you see the thank-you videos and hear “Thank you, ELVES!” — we mean it. You make the magic. We just show up and embody it.
Every year, I’m blown away by the giving that comes without expectation. We’re heading into next year with three Santas (probably four) and a growing army of ELVES behind the scenes.
The way we look out for our own… the way we make sure kids and families know that someone they’ve never met is thinking about them, caring about them — that matters more than most people realize.
And it truly makes a difference. ❤️🎄

I know Christmas is looking harder this year for a lot of us. I just want to say how thankful we are to live and support a community that works so hard to take care of its own. We reached about $2,000 for our purchasing goal, we've have some very generous monetary donations and toy donations from different people and places around Jackson that I would really like to highlight.
There isn't a locally owned toy store in Jackson that I know of and there are a lot of box stores and online retailers we can shop through but I'd like to bring your attention to just one.
Blain's Farm & Fleet Has been there to support this project since we started it. every year without fail they donate toys or money to buy them with or without my asking! They believe in supporting the communities that make them successful. They have a great toy selection every year and it's a hidden gem because people don't think of a farm and fleet store as a toy store so theres alot available for kids and adults alike.

Allskate Fun Center starting last year Allskate has given us skate and game passes to give out to teens or kids when we run out of presents for that age range. I don't know anyone who hasn't experienced the magic of this skating rink growing up and thats one tradition I'm happy to keep going.

Our local small business Sponsors who offer us space for gift donations and donations themselves, Concord Meats (Concord), GG's Cafe (Parma), and Sheer Attitude Design Studio (Parma). The Old Church w/ The Purple Door, Santa is Coming to Towns, The Priceless gift toy store and many more.
Thank you to all of those ELVES who worked so selflessly to make this project happen this year. I had to take a step back this year to deal with too much life all at once and they stepped into difficult shoes to fill and though it wasn't always easy, it's also greatly appreciated.
There are so many selfless ELVES that live amongst us. One elf was a Hot wheels collector, he donated 4 totes of cars for the project, Another makes blankets and things for kids, other elves stepped up to give her fabrics so she could make gifts for kids for us to pass out. She now has plenty and is super excited to be able to start making things for next year's project early.

To all of the Elves who Adopted entire families to help for the holiday, you make miracles happen for people, you may not see it that way, but when people are down and theres little hope, that hand of support from a stranger, just because they want you and your family to have at least one good day, someone cares about you and wants your life to be better, that you don't even know. That can change a persons entire life for the better. That to me is miraculous.
I'm grateful to my Mrs. Clause, Jessica, Where I falter she steps in to support me, with everything she / we have going on she still manages to help me focus or take on the extra herself until I can.

Christmas Eve is coming up quick! We have 3 Santa's that will be out this year. We had our gift wrapping party last night, so if there are any additional presents you'd like to donate please be sure they're wrapped and labeled with gender and age range for the gift! We wont have time to do it.

Who Is the Green Santa?

Before the bright red suit became famous around the world, Santa Claus had another form — older, wilder, and deeply connected to nature. This was the Green Santa, a figure rooted in ancient winter traditions and the spirit of the earth.

In early European folklore, the Green Santa — often known as Father Christmas — was not just a giver of gifts. He was the embodiment of winter’s magic, the turning of the seasons, and the quiet promise of renewal.

Clothed in deep green robes, he symbolized:
• the life hidden beneath the snow
• the evergreen trees that survive the cold
• the return of sunlight after the longest night
• the sacred cycles of nature

Long before modern celebrations, people honored the winter solstice through Yule, lighting fires and decorating with holly and ivy. During this time, the Green Santa appeared as a guardian of warmth, joy, and rebirth — a gentle reminder that even in the darkest days, life continues.

It was only in the 20th century that the red-suited Santa became popular, replacing the older green-clad spirit. Yet the Green Santa still lives on in folklore, pagan traditions, and the heart of winter magic.

He is the spirit of nature, renewal, and ancient festive joy — the Santa of the forests, the evergreens, and the old ways.

We’ve raised $750.00 towards our $5000.00 goal so far! Every dollar raised goes to buying presents for children around Jackson county to be delivered Christmas Eve! Though we appreciate monetary donations we love it when you buy and donate the gifts yourselves! Only because when you buy the gift there’s meaning behind it. You picked that toy for a random child you don’t know because something about that gift had meaning to you. We will be working to announce this years toy donation locations within the next week!
Here are the links for both adopters and adoptees. Families will be posted the same way through The Kilted Farmers facebook group!

🎅✨ The Kilted Santa Project 2025 Has Begun! ✨🎅

It’s that time of year again — the season of giving, kindness, and community! The 5th Annual Kilted Santa Project is officially underway, and we’re ready to spread some joy across Jackson County and beyond.

We’re now accepting applications for family adoptions — if you or someone you know could use a little extra help this holiday season, please reach out. Our goal, as always, is to make sure every child wakes up with a reason to smile on Christmas morning. ❤️

🎁 How You Can Help:
• Donate: Our GoFundMe for gifts and essentials is now live! Every dollar helps us make a bigger impact for local families.

https://gofund.me/f76c20874

• Give a Toy: Toy donation boxes will be placed around the community within the next two weeks. New, unwrapped toys for all ages are welcome.
• Share: Help us reach more families in need and more community elves ready to help!

This project is 100% volunteer-run, and every bit of support stays right here in our community. Together, we’ve brightened hundreds of holidays over the years — and we can’t wait to do it again.

📍 Stay tuned for donation box locations and updates on our progress.
