Sometimes we forget that the people protecting our country come from communities just like ours.

This week, Winter Haven lost one of its own Captain Khork, who was killed while serving overseas.

As someone who has also worn the uniform, I know the level of sacrifice that comes with that responsibility. It takes a special kind of person to put their life on the line so the rest of us can live ours in peace.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family, his friends, and everyone here in Winter Haven who knew him.

Captain Khork, thank you for your service and sacrifice. You won’t be forgotten

Yes this is normal, heat pumps are a bit more noisy when operating on heat mode. Your system will be going through defrost cycle more often as outside temperatures lowers.

I know it’s cold, and a lot of people are dealing with heating issues anything from systems not keeping up to no heat at all. During extreme and unusual weather like this, there are a few things homeowners can do to minimize stress and avoid major problems.

First, check your filter if it’s dirty please change it. if you’re getting a new system installed, make sure it’s a heat pump. Heat pumps are more efficient and, as a result, can help you save on electrical bills.

If you went the more affordable route and had a straight cool system installed, make sure you at least have an 8 kW heat kit. Mobile homes don’t have the same insulation capacity as a traditional home, so having the proper heat kit makes a big difference in keeping the home comfortable during colder weather (just be ready for the electrical bills). And if you already have a system installed and is still not heating the home have a professional come out to take a look at it.

Had a callback from an install we did a couple weeks ago.

S**t happens but we will always stand behind our work. I still went out there on a Sunday while I was with my family.

Warranties are important, but having a contractor that stands by their word is more important. Always doing what’s right for our customers and our community.

I want to share something real for a minute.

This system you’re seeing was in really bad shape. A lot of growth, moisture issues, and just years of neglect. And while I see this kind of thing often, this one hit close to home because we went through the same thing in our own house.

For a long time, we couldn’t figure out why we were getting sick so often. We were getting sick once or twice a month, and we have kids in the house. Doctor visits, missed school, chronic fatigue… it just felt like horrible and our health went downhill quick.

What we didn’t realize was how bad our indoor air quality really was. The HVAC system was circulating air that wasn’t clean, and we were breathing it every single day.

Once we replaced the system and started taking maintenance seriously, things slowly started to change. I am not saying it was an overnight miracle, but little by little we started feeling better. Less sickness, better sleep, more energy.

This is why regular HVAC maintenance and system checkups matter so much. It’s not just about keeping your house cool or avoiding breakdowns it’s about your health and your family’s health.

If you haven’t had your system checked in a while, please don’t ignore it. What you can’t see inside your system can affect you more than you think.

This one’s a true story from one of our techs last summer.

If you ever hear water coming from your air handler, shut the system off immediately and call a professional. It could be something minor but catching it early can save you from a major expense like water damage, or a full system shutdown. Better safe than sorry…

When a family reached out saying their babies were stuck in a hot house, we dropped everything to make sure they had cold air the same day. To think you’ve left the military… until life throws you dangerous side quests like an angry raccoon mom 🦝😂.

We’re glad our client had wildlife to safely remove them for us to be able to work on the tore apart ducts and is now enjoying the full power of their A/C again.
