A good fabrication project should do exactly what it's supposed to do.

This custom stainless tank recently completed a successful water leak test, validating the fit-up, welding, machining, and attention to detail that went into the build. It's always rewarding to see a project perform exactly as intended before it heads out the door.

Meet our Shop Coatings Operations Manager, Cameron Risinger!

Cameron spends his days working alongside our fabrication and engineering teams, managing projects from start to finish, and helping customers find the right solutions for their needs. His attention to detail and commitment to quality help ensure every project is completed successfully.

Something big is taking shape!

Our team recently engineered and fabricated this custom-made storm shelter for CountryMark, designed to provide reliable protection when it's needed most.

Projects like this are a great example of what we love to do. Taking an idea from concept and engineering, through fabrication and welding, and turning it into a finished solution built to serve a real purpose.

This is Part 1 of the project. Next up is painting, delivery, and installation.

Big day for Payton Metcalf!

After interning with Nix Industrial while completing his associate’s degree at Vincennes University, then his bachelor’s degree at Purdue University, Payton has officially signed on full-time as a Project Engineer following his recent graduation.

Payton’s journey is exactly why we continue investing in internships and tuition reimbursement opportunities: helping students gain real-world experience while supporting them as they build their careers. We’re proud to keep him on the team and excited for what’s ahead.

We recently manufactured an 11'6" long, 400 lb. high torque ball spline shaft with a hardness of 60 Rc. The shaft is engineered to meet high-strength requirements and precise tolerances, suitable for heavy industrial applications.

Check out this rush breakdown job we recently completed! This shaft was damaged in our customer's gearbox and we had to fix it ASAP to get them back up and running. We cleaned up the damaged areas to prep the shaft for welding, welded the shaft, turned down the weld to the correct dimensions, and put in new keyways. All of this was completed within three days and they are now back up and running.
