Another week of progress at our future Headquarters & Material Processing Bay! The building is taking shape, and work is moving into the next phase:

✓ Exterior site work is underway
✓ Interior production area work has started

If everything keeps moving as planned, we’re hoping to be fabricating in the new space by November!

We just wrapped up our Q3 Training Day this week!

Once a quarter, we dedicate a full day to training and development. It gives our team members time away from the normal day-to-day to sharpen their skills, learn something new, and continue growing in their careers — all while on the clock.

Because investing in our people is just as important as investing in new equipment and facilities.

We were honored to welcome Troy Selburg, Director of Workforce Initiatives with the U.S. Department of Labor, to Nix Industrial during his visit to Southwest Indiana.

Troy is meeting with businesses across our region to discuss workforce challenges and opportunities to strengthen our talent pipelines.

We appreciated the chance to share our perspective, show him around our operations, and discuss what we're seeing as a growing manufacturer.

We recently manufactured an 11'6" long, 400 lb. high torque ball spline shaft with a hardness of 60 Rc. The shaft is engineered to meet high-strength requirements and precise tolerances, suitable for heavy industrial applications.

Check out this rush breakdown job we recently completed! This shaft was damaged in our customer's gearbox and we had to fix it ASAP to get them back up and running. We cleaned up the damaged areas to prep the shaft for welding, welded the shaft, turned down the weld to the correct dimensions, and put in new keyways. All of this was completed within three days and they are now back up and running.
