If you’ve had a bad experience with a contractor before, you’re not alone. It’s one of the most common things we hear from homeowners.
Most of those experiences come down to the same few gaps: nobody owns the project, updates are vague, changes show up as surprises, and the homeowner ends up coordinating the trades.
Before you hire anyone, ask:
📏 Who’s my point of contact?
📏 How will I get updates?
📏 How are changes handled?
📏 Who manages the trades?
📏 What happens if something goes wrong?
Save this for when you start interviewing contractors. And if you’d like to ask us all five, send us a message and let’s talk about your project.
