iAero Airways is celebrating Women In Aviation by giving a spotlight to some of our women here, starting with First Officer Shannon Dean.

Shannon’s main inspiration for becoming a pilot is through her father. Being able to see first hand what the lifestyle was like, getting to see the inside of the cockpit from a young age, and how cool it was to be the one flying people to where they needed to be! In college she decided to start flying and obtained her private pilots license. Once the Southwest Destination 225 program was announced, Shannon applied and successfully went through the program with flying colors!

She has been an incredible asset to iAero Airways, not only in flying, but joining the recruiting team to help others on their aviation journey. We are thankful to have you on our team!
