I called Irina Gluhareff in CA and she is on quaratine. Irina has rights to her father's G8-2 pressure Jet engine shown on our website, She is fine. So I called Leon Halfon, the creator of our Surf Sailer:. He lives in the LA area and he says the entre state is on quarantine, They are both well, however.

Leon has a new book that has been rated about 8 by Amazon I edited the first half of the book and a writer in LA edited the last half, I am waiting for my review copy and I will give an evaluation here.

UPDATE ON PRELIMINARY RELEASE OF HP3:

The download packet has been made and it's huge. I'm okay with that - I know why and I can fix it with a few more days of work (but later, not now) as long the zipped packet will expand into a proper functing program (actually a mini-website to run in a browser).

I have to go to OfficeMax or somerthing and buy a clean flash drive, and test it. Yesterday I tested the uncompress version, which resides on an external hard drive, by launching the "index" file (home page) from a shortcut on my desktop It works beautifully. Now for the final test... Will the "unzipped" version also work great? If so, I'm ready to go.

There is some info on the body in the packet. .Here's an insert for a CD-ROM package designed for resellers (just a mockup). Don't believe the statement about 3D printing body panels, I'm still working on that option.

It looks like the preliminary release will go out tomorrow (monday)..

I know it's late in the day (monday). I keep running into things that would be nice to inlcude in this preliminary replease and that's what I am doing. I have not made an email list yet. And I have not written instructions. If I do not cut it off soon, I will be working all night, and I have obligations for work tomorrow. So I absolutely have to cut it off pretty soon.

I plan to make the zipped packet for download. The idea is to email a link to everyone that placed an early order. The preliminary release will be followed by a full releasers in a few weeks. But this preliminary release will enable everyone to build the chassis. There is also preliminary info on the body too. You could actually build the body with the material in this preliminary release. But there will be many more details to follow,

Great job on the build, Paul. And thanks Melissa (my grand daughter) for doing much of Solidworks 3D modeling. And thanks to Gala (my wife) for doing the image-setting for the manual. And Bill Beckner and Elusha Abdurakmanov, the two craftsman that made it into a real vehicle!!. I could not have done it alone.

NOTICE: An interum release of the new Trimuter plans will go out this week to those who have placed a pre-order. I had expected to make the release last week, but Solidworks was not cooperating on makiing cut-lists for the frame weldments,
So I will do it manually.

I am still a few weeks away from release of the HP3 plans. If anyone that has placed a preorder on the plans wants an interim release I can provide the chassis plans in about a week. Just let me know. Send your name and email address. I can verify your order with that info. On release of the finished product you will get a complete download of the entire plan-set.

Toyota's new hydrogen fuel cell car looks like the stylist ran out of ideas. The writer recommends that you should look at it only if you're blind. It's interesting to me that Elon Musk's work on EV has actually pushed hydrogen cars along.

Toyota will launch their mid-size hydrogen sedan next fall, with a range of up to 300 miles, 153 horsepower and a $57,500 price tag which includes free hydrogen for up to three years. But you can only get it in California. And should only look at it if you're blind.
