As of 10:00 a.m. we have approximately 228 members without power. Our crews are continuing their work on restoration efforts.

We currently have approximately 665 members without power due to multiple outages. Crews have been dispatched to affected areas and are actively working to restore service.

A vehicle accident in Hampton has broken a utility pole. To safely replace it, crews must briefly pause power service for members in Hampton and Tinsman.
Our teams are working as quickly and safely as possible to complete the repairs.

On May 8th, Ouachita Electric linemen Ethan Jordan, Austin McDonald, and Jemison McPherson proudly represented the cooperative at the 2026 Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas Lineman Rodeo. We appreciate each of these men for being outstanding ambassadors for Ouachita Electric, and we extend a special congratulations to Austin McDonald on earning 4th place in the overall apprentice division.
