Over the past year, crews from PELLCO demolished an existing building, completed the underground utilities, supported underground efforts for the pile contractor as well as the electrical and mechanical subcontractors, and prepared the subgrade for this concrete slab.

When does a 24,000-square-foot building need a 4-foot-thick foundation? When that foundation must support 44 tons of batteries.
