Last week, we were applying the brown coat and foam trim around the windows. Today, the exterior is complete and beautifully matches the main house — exactly how a well-designed ADU should look.

Just two weeks ago this was only framing… now the exterior stucco process has officially started 👀🏗️

The crew is applying the scratch coat today — the first layer that sets the foundation for the finished exterior. Once it dries, we move to the brown coat and final finish layers.

Inside, drywall finishing and sanding are underway, and this ADU is coming together fast 🔥🏡

Sometimes we have to take something down… to build something better 🧱➡️🏗️

This wall was removed during groundbreak to get machinery into the backyard — now it’s been rebuilt stronger than ever.
Inside, this 2 bed / 2 bath ADU is moving fast — insulation last week, and now drywall is complete and inspection passed 👀
Progress like this is where it all starts coming together.

We go from a flat slab… to a structure you can actually walk through. This is the moment the ADU starts coming to life.
Right now the crew is laying everything out — marking stud locations and getting ready to build up.

Give it a week… and this will look like a full ADU 👀🏡

Drywall day in Glendora 🏗️🏡

Once drywall is up, it gets inspected — then we move straight into paint. On the exterior, we’re lining up the next steps: scratch coat → brown coat → stucco.

This is an attached ADU, and when it’s all finished, it’ll blend so seamlessly with the main home you won’t even notice it was added.

Behind the walls? 2x4 framing + insulation — the structure that makes it all work.
