This month, we're proud to highlight one of our Associate Members — True Inspection Services.

TIS is dedicated to providing construction management and inspection services to government and private-sector clients. Their capabilities span construction management, construction inspection, transportation, structures, coatings, aviation, transit, and vertical construction, supporting projects across a wide range of infrastructure needs.

Now a division of The Mannik & Smith Group, Inc., TIS offers expanded service capabilities while continuing its focus on project service and delivery. Their work includes major transportation and infrastructure projects, with recent Ohio projects including the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor Project, Tinkers Creek Bridge Replacement Project, and I-70/I-71 Downtown Ramp Up.

During the MAASTO Conference, TIS joined our fellow companies that make up Trilon North: The Mannik & Smith Group, Inc. (MSG), Gonzalez Companies, LLC, Fehr Graham Engineering & Environmental, and HMB Professional Engineers, LLC, to host a hospitality event for clients, colleagues, and industry partners from across the region.

We appreciated the opportunity to spend time together, strengthen relationships, and connect beyond the conference sessions. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening a success!

QUESTION: Will the current bridge go away after the new one opens?

ANSWER: No, the existing bridge will remain in place, stay open during construction, and be reconfigured to three lanes on each deck. The Brent Spence Bridge will carry local traffic between Covington and Cincinnati.

The new companion bridge will carry interstate traffic on I-71 and I-75, separating local from regional and national travel.
