As winter draws to a close, engineering students at the University Illinois at Urbana-Champaign set aside a weekend to show off what they have been working on all year long. Students from every discipline of engineering set up exhibits to remind the general public of the role that science plays in everyday life and to show the difference that technology will make in the future. Sponsoring awards a

nd competitions, corporations that push the boundaries of science today also make an appearance. Primary and secondary schools also bring young students in hopes of passing the spirit of engineering to the next generation. When our young innovators meet the experienced engineers they strive to become and the children following in their footsteps, Engineering Open House begins.

💡Engineering Open House
2027 Logo Competition 💡

Get ready to unleash your creativity! We’re thrilled to announce the EOH 2027 Logo Competition, open to all students at The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. This year’s theme is “Driven by Discovery.,” and we’re looking for a logo that embodies the spirit of creativity, innovation, and sustainability.

🎨 Guidelines:

• Submit your logo in JPEG or PNG format. (Submission link in bio)
• Only use colors from the specified palette—white, gray, and black are also allowed.
• Incorporate the theme of “Driven by Discovery.”
• No profanity or inappropriate imagery.
• Do not use AI art sources to create the logo; any AI-generated logos may be disqualified.
• You can submit multiple designs—just use a new form for each submission.

The EOH central committee will review all entries, focusing on creativity and how well they represent the theme. Don’t miss this chance to leave your mark on one of the biggest events of the year!
