“The ethanol and shipping industry are adjusting rapidly to the changing economic environment and we would not be able to continue without this partnership,” says Brian Jacobson, assistant director of pilot plant operations at Integrated Bioprocessing Research Lab.

IBRL received a donation of 5,000 gallons of ethanol from Pacific Ethanol, Inc., enough to produce 6,200 gallons of hand sanitizer. G&D Integrated, Morton, provided the transportation from Pekin to Champaign. Other contributions include a loan of brand new flammable storage tanks from Premier Cooperative Inc. and a 25% reduction in packaging costs from Uline.
