Ductless mini-splits are becoming one of the most efficient ways to heat and cool your home. They offer quiet, zoned comfort, high SEER ratings (20–30), and stay powerful even down to 5°F. Perfect for older homes, additions, bonus rooms, and spaces without room for ductwork — and they install in about a day at less than half the cost of a traditional system.
Just like the name suggests, a ‘ductless’ system doesn’t rely on large air ducts to move heated or cooled air through a home. Instead, a small outdoor heat pump circulates refrigerant through slim lines that run to an indoor air handler mounted on the wall. According to Eric Smith, who owns Ryman’s Inc. Cooling and Heating in Middlesex County with his wife, Stephanie, their son Adam focuses specifically on installing and servicing these ductless systems.
At Ryman’s Inc., we specialize in mini-split and hybrid systems that bring top efficiency and year-round comfort. Thinking about upgrading? We’ve got you covered. ❄️🔥
