Owner/Operator Dave McCalmon has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. Dave worked as a construction foreman for a framing company for over 15 years. For over five years, he worked as a Project Manager for a small custom home builder in Suisun City, where he managed numerous projects, including a live-and-work community that was featured in many local and national publications.
Dave was born and raised in Vacaville, where he currently lives with his wife and family. In 2006, Dave obtained his general contractor’s license and started DNA Construction Services, Inc. with his wife, Angie who is the CFO of the company. As a general contractor, Dave is able to provide all aspects of construction service from small to large projects. With a low company overhead and the ability to have most of the work completed by Dave, DNA is able to provide its clients with reasonable rates. This allows DNA to pass on the savings to their clients, and provides them with a close working relationship with the owner, thus eliminating a “middle man”. They contribute their time to many local school events and fundraising activities, are involved with local events and take pride in contributing to their community's success. DNA prides itself in its quality of work, expertise and workmanship, and the ability to maintain a project budget in a timely manner.
