Every year, Architects‘ Darling honours architecturally valuable systems from various product areas in the construction industry. At this year’s award ceremony on 6 November in Celle, Kalzip received one of the popular awards. The aluminium façades impressed the jury in the ‘Best Exterior Wall Cladding’ category. This means that the ‘Oscar of the construction industry’ can now also be displayed at the headquarters in Koblenz.
The company also secured third place and the bronze award in the categories ‘Best Sampling’, ‘Best Product Film’, ‘Best Pitched Roof’ and ‘Best Flat Roof’.

Der Architects‘ Darling zeichnet jedes Jahr architektonisch wertvolle Systeme aus verschiedenen Produktbereichen der Bauindustrie aus. Bei der diesjährigen Verleihung am 6. November in Celle durfte Kalzip einen der beliebten Awards entgegennehmen. In der Kategorie „Beste Außenwandbekleidung“ haben die Fassaden aus Aluminium die Jury überzeugt. Damit darf der „Oscar der Baubranche“ nun auch in das Hauptquartier in Koblenz einziehen.
Auch in den Kategorien „Beste Bemusterung“, „Bester Produktfilm“, „Bestes Steildach“ und „Bestes Flachdach“ konnte das Unternehmen sich jeweils den dritten Platz und damit die Bronze-Auszeichnung sichern.

Construction site of the week - Calton Village, Glasgow 🏗️☀️

A new housing project is being built in Glasgow's Calton district: 250 new flats are to be created here in the so-called ‘Calton Village’, which will meet current standards and still be affordable, especially for low-income residents.

The roof landscape is a special feature: from the outside, it looks like a flat roof, but behind the slightly protruding brickwork lies a slightly pitched roof from Kalzip. The standing seam roof is robust and even accommodates a retrofitted photovoltaic system.

Baustelle der Woche – Calton Village, Glasgow 🏗️☀️

Im Glasgower Stadtteil Calton entsteht ein neues Wohnprojekt: Besonders für einkommensschwache Bürgerinnen und Bürger sollen hier im sogenannten „Calton Village“ 250 neue Wohnungen geschaffen werden, die aktuellen Standards entsprechen und trotzdem erschwinglich sind.

Eine Besonderheit ist die Dachlandschaft: Von außen betrachtet wirkt es wie ein Flachdach, hinter dem etwas überragenden Mauerwerk verbirgt sich jedoch ein leicht geneigtes Dach von Kalzip. Das Stehfalzdach ist robust und nimmt sogar eine nachträglich aufgeklemmte Photovoltaikanlage auf.

Am Mittwoch hatten wir die Freude, beim Marketing-Club Rhein-Mosel e.V. einen spannenden Abend zu gestalten. 🎤

Unser Marketingverantwortlicher Yannick de Beauregard hielt einen inspirierenden Vortrag zum Thema „Mit Emotionen zum digitalen Erfolg – Bauprojekte made in Koblenz“.

Yannick zeigte, wie wir bei Kalzip durch emotionale Ansätze und innovative Online-Marketing-Strategien Projekte wie dem Estadio Santiago Bernabéu erfolgreich vermarkten. Mit diesem Ansatz wurden wir im vergangenen Jahr mit dem Marketing Award in der Kategorie Online-Marketing ausgezeichnet – ein Erfolg, der uns zeigt, wie wichtig Emotionen für digitale Sichtbarkeit sind.

Ein herzliches Dankeschön an den Marketing Club Rhein-Mosel für die Organisation dieses tollen Events und an alle, die dabei waren. Das anschließende Get-together bot eine wunderbare Gelegenheit, sich auszutauschen und neue Impulse mitzunehmen.
