🚧 National Work Zone Awareness Week is almost over… but the message stays strong: Slow down. Stay alert. Respect the zone—so we all get home. 🦺

• 899 people were killed in work zones in 2023
• 705 of those were drivers or passengers—not workers
• 82 roadway workers lost their lives on the job
• Nearly 39,000 injuries were reported in work zone crashes

On January 5th, our guardrail division made history by installing 175LF of the state’s first ever TL-4 MASH approved, Roller Barrier Guardrail System on a state-owned road. This happened under the supervision of the Arkansas Department of Transportation in Benton, AR on the northbound side of West Carpenter Street. It was identified as a test area due to the constant damage to the original guardrail by semi trucks. ARDOT hopes this will significantly reduce the frequent repairs required to the old system, while prioritizing the safety of the traveling public. We would like to thank ARDOT for the opportunity to participate in this partnership and are proud of our guardrail crews that worked diligently to install the system!🚧🦺
