This year has been daunting to say the least. With the school being closed for Covid-19 we have gone to online classes. This has been doubly hard on this years Aerospace team. Having to design, model, and communicate virtually has not been easy. However, this team has stood up and done amazing things. Here is a sample of some of the hard work that WSUV students have accomplished. We have our Avionics Bay assembly and our integrated Air brake assembly. While this is a preliminary design with modifications and testing to be done, it is a promising step in the right direction. Many more to come.

Hey WSUV community. Wanted to reach out about the current status of the club. It is no surprise to anyone that this year is playing havoc with everyone and everything. WSUV changed the club platform from Cougsync to Coug Presence. Unfortunately, this new platform is not yet up and running. We are not able to access the club and no one is able to submit applications. However, if you are interested in joining or know anyone who is, please have them notify us via this page. As we get more information from OSI regarding the loosening of restrictions and funding I will post that information here.

Thank you to everyone for all of your support and your help throughout this year and years past! It is with a heavy heart that I let all of you know that the competition is canceled because of everything that is going on right now. We look forward to partnering with our sponsors again next year! I hope everyone continues to stay safe and we can all get through this!

A closeup of the rocket aft section.
The rocket will utilize a twill woven carbon fiber air frame with a 6.33" OD. The fins will span a total of 6.5" from the root chord to the tip chord. This will ensure a static stability margin of 2.05 keeping the rocket stable to the 10,000 ft target altitude. rocket .america
