The home originally featured a dated yellow body with green trim, giving it an older and less defined appearance. It has since been upgraded with new Hardie plank siding for improved durability and a more refined finish. The exterior is now painted a rich navy blue, creating a bold and modern look. Crisp white trim was added to enhance contrast and highlight the architectural details. Overall, the transformation significantly improved both the curb appeal and long-term quality of the home!

Layout & Storage: Basic setup with open shelving and exposed wire racks.

After:

Backsplash: Eye-catching pink salmon tile brings a warm, retro-modern aesthetic, with vertical stacking that elongates the walls.

Cabinets: Sleek new cabinetry in a rich teal/blue hue, providing a bold contrast to the tile and adding a refined, custom-built feel.

Countertops: Beautiful butcher block wood countertops add warmth, texture, and a timeless look that complements both the tile and cabinetry.

Shelving: Floating wood and metal shelves elevate the look while maintaining functionality and an open feel.

Before and After: Interior Paint & Renovation Project

This home received a fresh update with a warm, modern aesthetic. The walls were previously outdated and dull, but we gave the entire space new life by applying a soft beige color to the walls, paired with a creamy white trim and ceiling for a clean, bright contrast. The new paint highlights natural light beautifully and enhances the charm of the home’s original features.

In addition to the full interior paint job, we also completed several key installations, including:

This kitchen remodel showcases a remarkable transformation from a dated 1970s-style kitchen to a sleek and modern design.

Latest Project!

Before:

• The original kitchen featured dark wooden cabinets with curved paneling, characteristic of the 1970s.

• The countertops were cluttered, and the decorative fruit-patterned wallpaper and border gave the space a vintage aesthetic.

• A single-basin sink was installed under a small window, with a pot rack hanging above.

• The kitchen had limited lighting, relying on an old-school round ceiling light.

• The flooring appeared aged and slightly mismatched with the cabinets.

After:

• The remodel replaced the dark, outdated cabinetry with crisp white shaker-style cabinets, creating a bright and open feel.

• The countertops were upgraded to white quartz, offering a sleek and modern appearance.

• A new stainless steel double sink was installed beneath the window, paired with a modern high-arch faucet.

• The hanging pot rack was removed, and recessed ceiling lighting was added for better illumination.

• The dated wallpaper was eliminated, replaced with smooth, neutral-colored walls.

• The kitchen layout remained similar, but the streamlined cabinetry and modern materials significantly enhanced functionality and aesthetics.

Our favorite project yet!

Before:

The original bathroom featured a traditional clawfoot-style bathtub with a curved shower rod and curtain. The walls had soft pastel tones, complemented by vintage-style furnishings, lace curtains, and a built-in storage cabinet. The space exuded an old-world charm with wooden floors, delicate accents, and a cozy ambiance.

After:

The new bathroom now features a striking walk-in shower with green square tiles that give it a bold yet classic look. The glass shower doors with black trim add a sleek, contemporary touch while maintaining a vintage feel with their metal framework. The shower includes built-in shelving and a modern showerhead for added convenience. The black-and-white patterned tile flooring contrasts beautifully with the vibrant green walls, creating a stylish, refreshed space.

This renovation successfully modernized the bathroom while maintaining its vintage character, blending old and new elements seamlessly.

Living Room Update/Remodel

Before:
The living spaces initially had an outdated look, with textured ceilings, beige carpeting, and a traditional brick fireplace dominating the room. The color palette leaned towards warm neutrals, but the spaces felt enclosed and dimly lit due to the lack of modern fixtures and the older style of window blinds. The brick fireplace, while functional, appeared dated, and the overall design did not maximize the potential of the vaulted ceilings and natural light from the large windows.

After (70% Completion):
The remodel has transformed the space into a brighter, more modern environment. The old carpet has been removed, and the walls and ceilings have been repainted in a light, neutral color, making the rooms feel larger and more open. The fireplace has been updated with a fresh coat of white paint, giving it a contemporary look while preserving its central position as a focal point. The ceilings have been smoothed and fitted with new recessed lighting, adding to the modern feel. The updated space now features better use of natural light through the large windows, giving the rooms a clean and airy ambiance. Though not fully completed, the changes so far have brought a significant refresh to the interior.

Before:

The bedroom featured wall-to-wall carpeting in a neutral tone, giving it a soft, traditional feel. The walls were painted a plain white, and the built-in closet doors and trim were a light wood finish, matching the overall subdued style. The room appeared clean but somewhat dated, with minimal character or modern aesthetic elements.

After:

The transformation introduced sleek and modern hardwood flooring, replacing the carpet to create a fresh, polished look. The walls were repainted in a crisp white, complementing the natural warmth of the new flooring. One wall gained an accent feature with horizontal paneling, adding texture and interest. The addition of modern light fixtures further enhanced the space, making it feel contemporary, bright, and inviting while maintaining simplicity and functionality.

Kitchen Update at 70% Completion:

Before Description: The initial state of the house featured a kitchen with light wood cabinets installed throughout, complemented by black appliances and a tiled backsplash. The layout included an island counter and ample natural light from large windows and a sliding glass door. The flooring was polished light wood, giving the space a warm and traditional appearance.

After Description: At 70% completion, the project showcases significant progress toward a modernized space. The old cabinets and appliances have been removed, and the walls have been patched, primed, and prepared for further finishing. Recessed lighting has been installed in the ceiling for enhanced brightness. The flooring is protected as the worksite is active with tools and materials in place for the final installations. The open layout now reveals the potential for a fresh and updated design as the renovation nears completion.
