DD&C is a small general contractor and developer working on projects in and around Western Washington and Oregon. POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Lead Equipment Installer – Hourly, Full time, located out of Vancouver, WA
Open Position consists of equipment and material handling/minor rigging for industrial and commercial equipment. This position will involve: loading medium to large industrial equipment at a warehouse, transporting the equipment to the project site, off-loading the equipment, moving the equipment into position, and then leveling, grouting, and anchoring the equipment to the subfloor.
Service Area: Primarily SW Washington and NW Oregon, along the I-5 corridor. Occasional installations in Eastern WA, and Western Idaho require overnights (approximately 2-4 nights/month). Drive time to each installation is paid, accommodations (when necessary) are paid (and per diem is provided for each overnight stay). Drive time back home from the installation is unpaid.
Equipment Types: Commercial and Industrial Laundry equipment, ranging from 600 LBS to 3,000 LBS
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Insurance: Full health and dental insurance coverage are provided for full-time employees, at no cost to the employee.
Term Life Insurance: $50,000 Policy during the term of employment, at no cost to the employee.
Wage: $25-37/HR, depending on experience.

EXPERIENCE:
Preferred Experience: Management of staff or subordinates. Material handling and/or warehouse management. Rigging. Can operate the following equipment: Medium-sized box/flatbed trucks (no CDL required), liftgate, pallet jacks (standard and electric), warehouse forklift, roto hammers, impact wrenches, and other hand-held power tools.
Qualified candidates would be evaluated for their relevant skills and experience, attitude, ability to learn, ability to critically think, and multitask. No tools or previous construction/installation experience is required.
